Following the club training game on Thursday 19th August, a member who took part in the game has reported to us that they are symptomatic for Covid and are awaiting test results.
It is unknown whether this was contracted prior to the game or after the game.
The present guidance is:
From the 16th August, those who are fully vaccinated or U18 will not have to self-isolate, unless they develop symptoms or test positive.
There must be a 14 day gap between the second vaccination and exemption coming into effect.
If you are over 18 and not fully vaccinated, you will still need to isolate if you come into contact with someone with Covid.
If you are not vaccinated and in doubt, the club encourages you to take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT).
If you become symptomatic or you return a positive LFT, please inform Dave Metcalfe, IWRFC Safeguarding Officer in confidence on 07887557511.
