Isle of Wight RFC held their 2023-24 end of season awards event at the club recently. Blessed with glorious weather, the club held a family event attended by almost 100, with delicious food and children's activities followed by the award ceremony and a silent disco. The following awards were announced on the evening:

Biffa award: George Huish

Newcomer award: Bradley Martin

Young player of the year: Harri Jones-Evans

Player of the year: Cameron Browne
Chairman's award: Betsy Blackman
President's award: Kieran Leahy

Players' player of the year: Martin Newnham
Further afield, two of the club's foremost volunteers were honoured at the recent Hampshire RFU Volunteer Awards held at Havant RFC. George Huish was nominated in the Unsung Hero category for his exceptional hard work in the role of club treasurer over the last two years, while Betsy Blackman was nominated in the Game Changer category for her innovative and tireless approach to club social events and the bar/social space offering. We can't thank these two enough for all of their hard work on behalf of the club!
