Isle of Wight RFC gathered at the Lakeside Hotel in Wootton to celebrate the season just concluded, the first since the COVID-19 pandemic put an end to activities. The gala event saw the traditional annual awards presentation take place.

Other awards were announced, with Harri Jones-Evans winning Young Player of the year, Dave Hanson taking the 2nd XV player of the year award, while Wally Peters was honoured with the President's award. The Biffa award for unsung heroes went to club facilities manager Kevin Blackburn. Club chairman Stuart Browne also thanked players' families, club volunteers and sponsors for their support of the club, ensuring a successful season and hopes for further development next season.
The club holds its AGM at the clubhouse on Wednesday 11 May at 7.30 pm.
