Isle of Wight RFC held their annual Christmas charity game at Wootton Rec, attended by a large crowd eager to shake off the festive excess. Two teams were drawn by lottery, from a pool of players comprised of current and former clubmen, along with some guest players from other Island clubs. It was the Blue team who defeated the Reds on the day.
Most importantly, £1050 was raised by players and spectators on the day. This has been divided between supporting club projects and Team Teddy/The Lily Foundation. The club would like to thank all who contributed.
